Paul McCartney (and The Monthly Round Up)

Posted on October 4, 2008 by No Comments

September 2008 was all about Paul McCartney for me.
43 years ago, the Israeli government didn’t allow The Beatles to perform in Israel, claiming they will corrupt Israeli youth. You have to admit, of all the dumb things Israeli governments did over the years, this has to be one of the the top 3 dumb things of all times!
Earlier this year, the Israeli government actually issued an official apology to the remaining Beatles, which made us all think that something good is about to happen.
After many rumors, around September 1st we got the news.
Macca will be performing in Tel Aviv, Israel.

Oh.
My.
God!

The Monthly Round Up- August 2008

It’s been quiet lately here on CMNotes.
Things have been really crazy around here this summer, and I must share with you- I am at a crossroads and not really sure of how things will continue on CMNotes.
I do know that I love the platform and continue to write, but what are my goals? What do I want to achieve with CMNotes?
Of course, I have obvious reasons to write- I enjoy it, I love Chinese Medicine, I love connecting with all of you and I love to spread the good word of Chinese Medicine around the world, even if I am from little ol’ Israel. Is there more? Do I need more? Can I do more?
These are the things I need to figure out.

One of the things that I hope will help me come to some conclusions (even 1 will be enough!) is looking through at what I have already uploaded here on the blog.
One way to do this is to see what went on here on August:

The Monthly Round Up- July 2008

It was a bit difficult to write this month.
The family was sick, the nanny is here only 1 day a week, grandma had a little operation on her foot- all of this left me with 99% of my time as a mommy and 1% of my time as an independent small business.
No, these are not excuses, but they are the explanations I have for not writing as much as I would like to.

Baby Healing tells the tale of my boy being ill and all of the things it brought up in me, including my own illness…

The Monthly Round Up- June 2008

What a busy month this was!

We kicked things off with a bit of advice for all you students out there.
7 Techniques to Study For Exams in Chinese Medicine offers some of the tips that helped me during my studies, I hope that you’ll find them helpful too.

I was very happy to bring you my interview with Phillippe Sionneau, a practitioner from France who has a lot of experience with herbs- he also wrote a number of books and many articles and he gives lectures all over Europe and the USA.

The Monthly Round Up- May 2008

May turned out to be a busy month!

We kicked things off with The Seven Emotions, a review about one of my favorite books in CM (if not my most favorite). I think every practitioner and every student of CM can benefit from this book.

The Monthly Round up- April 2008

We start with a nice little tradition- the monthly round up.
I will list all of the posts we made this month, and sometimes- if I feel like it- we will add interesting things we liked this month. Just one of the good side of being my own boss, I can add things I like just because I feel like it.
Let’s begin:

The Heiner Experience Part 2 followed part 1 (this is just the way it goes, you know?), in which we talked about anger, what Heiner had to say about anger in a seminar he gave last month and how all is experienced by me through acupuncture.
