6 Links About Chinese Medicine To Read and Bookmark

Posted on August 5, 2008 by Yael

It’s a bit early in the week for weekly links.
I figured that since I’ve been so behind on my posts, the least I can do is make a special list, hoping that next week will mark my return to routine.

When I finished school, I knew that I mainly want to help women who went through a sexual trauma.
I have no doubt in my mind that Chinese Medicine, especially when you understand the 5 Elements at it’s deepest levels, I know it can help those women understand the trauma better and all it’s affects on their lives.
So I was very happy to read Abdallah Stickley’s post about PTSD, Heart Disease and Acupuncture, which was posted on Abdallah’s blog Even Unto China. As PTSD has a lot to do with sexual trauma, understanding what PTSD can do to a person is highly important during treatment.

Alternative Practice.com is a blog that helps you to market your clinic.
It’s a good source for ideas, and I think that having a blog like this for free is a good thing to be subscribed to, as a practitioner,or even a practitioner to be.
One of the things we need to do is to market our clinic’s website as much as we can. The post A Quick Google Tip talks about that, you should take a look.

Did you check Lorne Brown’s Pro-D Seminars yet?
Pro-D Seminars brings a variety of seminars from Chinese Medicine practitioners from around the world.
One can also find online courses and distant learning, things that for people like me who live a bit too far from Canada is very important. I encourage you to visit the website, you just might find something interesting.

I think that Julie Meyer writes beautifully.
Five Minds is a highly interesting blog, and if you visit it- be warned. You might not be able to leave it.
Check Julie’s post titled Acupuncture for Lungs Affected By Ozone, Toxins and Grief. You will not be sorry.

I will finish this post with 2 links that brought a smile to my face:

Acupuncture Good For Covering Body In Tiny Holes. Huh??- that was my response, but then I read the article and thought others would think it’s funny as well.

And, as a special video for the upcoming Olympic games, here’s a guy that has all the countries-well- on his head….

Have a good week everyone!
