What a busy month this was!

We kicked things off with a bit of advice for all you students out there.
7 Techniques to Study For Exams in Chinese Medicine offers some of the tips that helped me during my studies, I hope that you’ll find them helpful too.

I was very happy to bring you my interview with Phillippe Sionneau, a practitioner from France who has a lot of experience with herbs- he also wrote a number of books and many articles and he gives lectures all over Europe and the USA.

I updated you regarding various events of Chinese Medicine around the world, if you have any events that you would like me to mention, send them over.

The Weekly Links category grows bigger by the week, this month’s links:

Never Market Again is an eBook by Burton Kent. It talks about a marketing strategy for acupuncturists.
You are welcome to read the whole review, but I would like to say that the fact that I had something to read about this issue still sparks ideas in my mind regarding marketing.

Chinese Medicine & Me- look at that title, that’s a title of a bad book, isn’t it??
Truth is that there’s really no better title in my mind, for the past 10 years I’ve been feeling right at home with Chinese Medicine and it just keeps getting better for me in that sense.

The Library is a new category in CMNotes, one which I am very happy to have.
Books are such a huge part of my life, and in Chinese Medicine  I find myself reading more than ever. I think that it is very important to read books, granted they are not a substitute to other forms of education, but this is an excellent way for a practitioner to study more and more on your own and stay in touch with the field once you graduated.

The Giovanni Maciocia Way talks about the work of Giovanni Maciocia.
Many are not aware of Maciocia’s vast knowledge of Chinese Medicine, and many don’t even imagine that he started as Dr. Van Buren’s student!

The Products of Kamedis is a post that wishes to introduce you to products for skin conditions that are based on Chinese herbs.
Hopefully I will receive more information that I will be able to share with you on these products. I will keep you posted.

Chinese Psychology is another book review from The Library, this time about the wonderful book by Dr. Leon Hammer- Dragon Rises, Red Bird Flies.
I really can’t praise this book enough.

The Carnival of Healing #144- The Eclectic Issue is the last post on June, with many interesting links to various blogs out there, not all Chinese Medicine, but interesting just the same.

Don’t forget that you can check our job board by clicking here, if you’re looking for a job this could be a good place to start looking.

Before you go on, please take a moment to vote for CMNotes on Blogger’s Choice Awards, that is if you like what you read here…. Thanks!
