Summer is definitely here.
Everything is too sticky, I am glued to the air condition, and as much as I know that it’s not all that healthy- I just can’t help it. Sweating right after taking a shower is something that I had enough of, you know what I mean?

Here are some interesting links to read while cooling off:

Survival of the Sickest: Julie Meyer at Five Minds continues to write beautiful posts.

Alternative Cures for Pets: Chinese Medicine works wonders with animals. I myself used some products based on Chinese herbs formulas for skin condition on one of my cats, and it worked very well. Even our vet was surprised (as he said nothing will help).

Herbalists to Face Strict Regulations: there’s a line there that says “…protect the public”. That line annoyed me a little. Protect the public of what? Seems to me the public should be protected of ignorance. If you want people to know something you need to educate them, not go around spreading ideas that complementary medicine is bad and so people must be protected from it.

Compassion as the Driving Force of Classical Chinese Medicine Practice: another interesting post by Eric Grey from Deepest Health, who will soon become an intern.

Ibrahimovic Gets Acupuncture to Treat Swollen Knee: it’s Euro time, and the newspapers in Europe all talk about the acupuncture Ibrahimovic gets for his knee. Everything to get better for the Euro’s games. I first heard about it through Chinese Medicine Times.

Acupuncture My Butt: another interesting title that made me read this post rather quickly. It’s a shame that some people get bad impressions about acupuncture just from one practitioner, you know what I mean?
Why not go and see another practitioner, just as people would go to get a second opinion in western medicine?

Crackdown on Healers After Student’s Death: I wrote about this sad incident, now we can read about the consequences.

Movie “Soul Masters” Spotlights Chinese Healers: a movie about Chinese Healers? Really??

Now that I got your attention– I’m happy to open The Library here in CMNotes, a new category for all those interested in books. I wrote an introduction about the new category, you are welcome to read it by clicking here.

Have a good weekend everybody!
