Books are important, period.
They can be our best friends, they take us to travel in new lands, create a wonderful world of fantasy and allows us to use our imagination freely, without judgment.
Books are forever a symbol of culture, of knowledge and spiritual and intellectual wealth.
They are, for me, one of the best things to be created by the human race.
If it weren’t for books and the evolution of books, our knowledge of life, people, animals, medicine, history, science- almost everything would have been lost.
No doubt, books are rather useful.
They are also useful in various ways as explained in the next quote:
“A big leather-bound volume makes an ideal razor strap. A thin book is useful to stick under a table with a broken caster to steady it. A large, flat atlas can be used to cover a window with a broken pane. And a thick, old-fashioned heavy book with a clasp is the finest thing in the world to throw at a noisy cat.” ~ Mark Twain

Chinese Medicine blessed us with beautiful books that explain the deep secrets of Chinese philosophy.
Books are so important here, as we know that big pieces of Chinese Medicine history was erased by some people burning books of great knowledge, and therefore we have lost great sources of information about philosophy, tradition, and medicine.
The fact that we still have sources of information in the form of books, in various subjects of Chinese Medicine, is like having a treasure.
During my jolly student days, I worked for almost 5 years in 2 libraries in 2 Chinese Medicine schools I attended. It is only fitting that I will now have a library of my own, even if it is just a category.
I would mention the schools, but I think that by clicking here you will find more famous libraries…
This is where I will talk about books- I will present my favorites, present new books and editions and we’ll see where this new feature leads us to.
Take a look around, and remember- this is a library, so please, no loud talking.

I love books too- and Chinese Medicine. I don’t know if you have read the books of Master and Doctor (of Chinese and Western medicine) Zhi Gang Sha. If not, I would suggest starting with his most recently released: “Soul Wisdom: Practical Soul Treasures to transform your life.” It is just that, and they are! Soul practices (soul tapping, soul song, soul language, soul dance and soul movement are explained joyfully and thoroughly. This does not begin to describe the treasures that a soul-centered and deeply capable and loving Master reveals. I think you will be astounded and amazed at the new vistas that are revealed. Doctor Sha is also the author of “Soul Mind Body Medicine” and other grooundbreaking works. His website is http://www.drsha.com where you can read of his work for humanity and world peace.

Hi Sally,
Thanks for your comment.
I mentioned the movie that was made about Dr. Sha, I think it was him, in a previous post.
Thanks for mentioning the website though, I was glad to stumble upon it.
Take care,
Yael
